The Opportunity:
HomeAway, Inc. is looking for a bright and driven Affiliate Partnerships Manager to scale our North America affiliate programs. The ideal candidate brings a keen commercial focus, is both sales driven and results oriented and is an adept client relationship manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day management of programs and developing relationships with affiliates across our worldwide affiliate marketplace. We will look to you to create performance reports, coordinate banner creative, validate sales and leads, distribute monthly communications, and ensure affiliate best practices are in place.

The role is ideal for a highly motivated relationship manager capable of influencing decision makers at all levels prepared to immerse themselves into the commercial dynamics of a successful consumer brand. 


Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop mutually beneficial relationships with and manage all aspects of partner interactions

- Monitor the success of each account and maximize profitability by advising on HomeAway’s products and services.

- Maintain basic account infrastructure, including but not limited to: uploading creative, integrating API and creating new program terms.

Optimize existing partnerships while developing and applying program growth strategies to recruit prospects.

- Help partners integrate our Affiliate APIs and XML feeds. 

- Validate all sales and leads.

- Provide monthly reports on account performance and forecasts.

- Monitor, research and report findings on market developments in your region.

- Attend travel conferences in your region to increase your network and promote HomeAway.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years relevant work experience within digital marketing industry

- BA/BS from an accredited college or university.

- Knowledge of specialized internet advertising techniques and both affiliate marketing and search marketing.

- Strong communication, negotiation & reporting skills.

- Proactive, positive and self-motivated with the ability to work without close supervision.

- Knowledge of the online travel industry. Ideally the vacation rental category. 

- Fluency in English required. Additional languages are a plus.

Culture
The HomeAway World Headquarters is located in downtown Austin, Texas. Employees love the proximity to restaurants, bars and retail — especially to the unofficial company cafeteria, the Whole Foods Market flagship store. The office space is also situated off of Lady Bird Lake, which has a fantastic hike and bike trail. HomeAway's four-story, 86,000-square-foot, mixed-use building was awarded Gold-level LEED certification in April 2010 for its use of eco-friendly materials. The design is vacation-themed and features a giant replica of the birdhouse from the HomeAway logo.
