HomeAway Software is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. HomeAway Software delivers the leading software and mobile app solutions needed by professional vacation property managers to attract guests, run their business, and deliver great guest experiences. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who is passionate about a user’s experience across all channels they use to engage our brand. You’ll need to be creative, tech and data-savvy, and have experience developing and executing digital marketing programs to engage, acquire, and nurture our prospects. The successful applicant will be skilled in SEO, paid search, display, paid social, and re-marketing.

 

Keys to Success:

-Demonstrable experience in planning, executing, and managing campaigns for organic and paid search, display advertising, re-marketing, and paid social

-Ability to dive into data and alter campaigns to maximize engagement and conversion, while uncovering data insights to improve the overall effectiveness of the marketing organization

-Experience working with marketing automation software, preferably Eloqua

-Possess a self-starter mindset and can work collaboratively

-Current knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends, best practices, and channels to keep us ahead of the competition

-Driven to learn, grow, and succeed

 

Responsibilities:

-Create, execute, and report on digital marketing campaigns to acquire and accelerate new prospects through the marketing funnel 

-Manage and execute paid media campaigns including LinkedIn, Facebook, SEM, re-marketing, and other industry-specific channels, optimizing for budget and conversion

-Design, create, test, and refine landing pages, associated forms, and ads alongside the marketing operations team to maximize conversions and ensure smooth handoff to sales

-Create compelling and relevant copy and ads; at times, modifying artwork files in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign

-When undergoing larger projects, develop creative briefs and specs for corporate digital media asset requests

-Leverage Google Analytics capabilities to establish program baselines, measure performance, develop new strategies, and communicate progress towards targeted business objectives

-Develop standardized reporting framework for digital marketing including weekly performance reports and dashboards

-Manage outside agencies, contractors, and vendors, on an as needed basis.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

-A minimum of 3 years B2B digital marketing experience managing and executing SEM and SEO activities, ideally in a software technology company

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills

-Current with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices

-Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

-Advanced skillset working with Google AdWords, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Moz Pro, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Eloqua (or another similar marketing automation program)

-Extremely analytical, detail-oriented, and organized

-Mastery of online marketing tactics including the execution of keyword builds, bids and bid optimization strategies, implementation of new tactics, and related activities

-Experience managing programs that meet both brand and sales objectives.

-Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment, can make decisions and act accordingly, and is adaptable to evolving market and organizational requirements

-Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget

-Bachelor's Degree required

Culture
The HomeAway World Headquarters is located in downtown Austin, Texas. Employees love the proximity to restaurants, bars and retail — especially to the unofficial company cafeteria, the Whole Foods Market flagship store. The office space is also situated off of Lady Bird Lake, which has a fantastic hike and bike trail. HomeAway's four-story, 86,000-square-foot, mixed-use building was awarded Gold-level LEED certification in April 2010 for its use of eco-friendly materials. The design is vacation-themed and features a giant replica of the birdhouse from the HomeAway logo.
