Enterprise Account Manager at Purple

We opened in Austin in January 2017 and due to the success of our Purple’s sales trailblazers we’re ready to expand our sales team already. Our cloud based data analytics technology enables venue owners to learn more about their customers, contact them with relevant content and make more sales.Although we’re more than tripling our sales team we want to retain the atmosphere we have internally, they’re a fun bunch and when they’re not being masters of account management and closing sales you’ll find them in the restaurants and bars of Austin on East 6th street where you’ll also find our office.

Sales of a SaaS product gives you the opportunity to leverage your great account management skills to make sure you keep your clients for years to come, earning commission on all of those sales and retentions. One of the aspects of our current sales team love about Purple is the quality and size of our pre-existing channel partner network, this results in a plethora of qualified sales leads for you to convert. You still get to do your own prospecting and attend conferences and events to boost your sales figures. Although the position is based from our Austin office, you will get out to meet your clients, we have all the technology to make contact easier but we still believe face to face is the best way to conduct sales. 

The key trait we look for at Purple is passion, we want people who love technology and sales. Beyond that, these skills/experiences won’t hurt your application;

  • Experience in technology sales, be that SaaS, cloud or IoT
  • Hunter sales mentality, enjoy prospecting and closing sales leads.
  • Enterprise account management, selling in to large enterprises and fortune 500 companies.
