The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager of Global Partner and Product Marketing is responsible for meeting and exceeding business objectives for the Activation team in the Partner and Product marketing group at HomeAway. Critical to the success of the role includes creating a new function in the organization that succeeds at globally aligning and activating partner marketing efforts across multiple channels and requires an elevated focus on detail and data and insights. Due to the entrepreneurial and dynamic nature of our business, we are looking for team members who can operate successfully at a strategic level but who are equally comfortable at a detailed execution level. Our ideal candidate is strategic, adaptable, data-driven, and strongly motivated to contribute in any way possible to the success of the team, our customers and our global initiatives. 

Primary Responsibilities:

-Partner Planning 

- Develop and oversee the global communications marketing plans and calendar across the entire Partner

-Marketing team (including acquisition and retention), planning together, aligning often, and working through priority conflicts as they arise; plans will incorporate the complexity and planning needs across multiple sites and languages adjusting as needed

-Partner Analytics - This role will work with the BI and DB marketing groups to ensure all key programs have the relevant tracking in place. This role will ensure we have a weekly read of our overall performance vs goals

-Vehicle Management - Champion and coordinate the activation of underused and new channels to help broaden the reach and engagement of our partners. Partner with the marketing automation team and global vehicle activation team

-As team grows and evolves, there is potential to help build localization team within broader partner team as well as drive significant advancements in contact strategy

Profile/Skills:

-10+ years internet, ecommerce experience in a global capacity

-10+ years of product marketing or marketing experience, preferably B2B and B2C

-Proven ability to manage complex projects from planning through execution

-Proven ability to take plans and priorities and activate successful programs across multiple brands and languages

-Deep expertise and proven success in detailed planning and analysis of customer touch-points and strategy

-Proven success aligning multiple teams across the globe with different priorities around common goals and framework

-Ability to step in and audit current customer journey and contact strategy and build a path to be data driven

-A proven track record of partnering with other teams to ensure success

-Strong analytical and communication skills 

-MBA preferred

Culture
The HomeAway World Headquarters is located in downtown Austin, Texas. Employees love the proximity to restaurants, bars and retail — especially to the unofficial company cafeteria, the Whole Foods Market flagship store. The office space is also situated off of Lady Bird Lake, which has a fantastic hike and bike trail. HomeAway's four-story, 86,000-square-foot, mixed-use building was awarded Gold-level LEED certification in April 2010 for its use of eco-friendly materials. The design is vacation-themed and features a giant replica of the birdhouse from the HomeAway logo.
