Sr. UI/UX Designer at CSID


The Senior UI/UX Designer works to establish and drive the creative solution and vision of projects for CSID, a part of Experian. In this role, you will lead the creation of user interface designs, specifications as well as visual design of key software initiatives.


The Senior UI/UX Designer is:

  • Responsible for the execution and delivery of creative design deliverables
  • A strong, well-rounded designer with experience in interaction, UI, and UX design
  • Able to confidently articulate how the design solution answers user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and other project facets, and translate that into a premium visual design

Expected deliverables in this role include sketches, wireframes, IA maps, task flows, heuristic evaluations, etc. Candidates should possess confidence with typography, color theory, iconography, aesthetics, and application of brand attributes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of professional experience with interaction and visual design for software user interfaces
  • Strong UI/UX portfolio of pertinent work is required. Please provide a link to your portfolio.
  • Experience designing for SaaS platforms
  • Experience with managing a team
  • Passionate about creating beautiful user-centric experiences
  • Experience with conceptual design and creative prototypes as well as tactical UI design and implementation
  • Experience with interaction and visual design of mobile (web and native app) initiatives
  • Strong familiarity with responsive design principles
  • Strong listening, organization, and communication skills regarding UI design process, methods and rationale
  • Experience creating specs for UI deliverables, including UI states and behaviors
  • General understanding of user research techniques and their value in the design process
  • Abreast of UI design best practices, trends and techniques
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to quickly analyze UI/UX across platforms to identify the best methods for integration
  • Experience with project tracking systems such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Expert experience with Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
  • Basic understanding of technical platforms and terms (i.e. HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, Java, .NET, XAML/WPF, Flex etc.)
  • Experience with cross-team interactions and dissemination of UI/UX documentation and information
  • Willingness to whiteboard, document and lead design interactions with Product and Development to derive innovative solutions
  • Strong prototyping skills (InVision, Sketch, Omnigraffle, etc)
  • Willingness to investigate UI/UX issues in depth to generate solutions
  • Empathy with a strong sense of user-centric narrative and experience creating user flows
  • Familiarity with basic typography and layout patterns
  • Positive attitude, proactive and helpful
  • Education: Bachelor and/or Master Degree in a Relevant Field of Study (i.e. Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Graphic Design, New Media, Engineering, Liberal Arts, etc.)
